Y-PEER Chumey coordinated cleaning campaign on International Youth Day with the theme “Safe spaces for Youth”. The participants are Y-PEER club members and some of the interested faculty joined the cleaning campaign where they covered 8 km collecting waste alongside the road and stream. The campaign was fully funded by the Department of Youth and Sports under the Ministry of Education. However, the participants are served with the refreshments from various benefactors and shops.
ew trainees reported to the Institute on 31st July 2018. They are received by the seniors and management of the Institute. There are 80 trainees enrolled for various trade for National Certificate Level II. They will be oriented vigorously about the Institute norms and culture for two weeks before they really begin with their academic session. They are also given an overview of TVET and its significance in a country with the opportunity that they have as a technical graduate.
